  • Ducati Cites 68% Sales Growth for First Quarter of 2011
    The North American division of Ducati bikes recently announced their sales figures for the first quarter of this year. The Italian bike manufacturer has claimed an increase in sales of almost 68 per cent in the first quarter in comparision to that of last year. The recent figures continue the trend witnessed by the brand in the last two quarters for 2010, even though the annual overall sales of 2010 were in the negative. Ducati, meanwhile continues to remain bullish regarding the future sales for the entire year, with their newest Monster and Diavel 1100EVO currently making it to the retail market.   • BMW’s Latest F800R Makes for a Sturdy, Capable Bike
    The newest version of the BMW F800R is a demi-sport price point bike. Though this bike has reportedly received inputs from bike stunt stalwart, Christian Pfeiffer, this bike is still sturdy and capable enough as a citizen bike as compared to a stunt bike. This BMW F800R has a snazzy white, red and blue livery. The new 2011 model of this bike has a minimalist style. It is powered by a parallel twin 798cc engine which was first seen in the 2006 model of BMW Bikes, which sits in the aluminum twin-spar frame of the bike.
