Arctic Cat Motorcycles made a debut in the ATV segment by introducing 454cc model. The larger displacing ATV’s were going high on the sales chart. Taking this an opportunity the Arctic Cat motorcycles introduced the ATV in the big bore segment. Soon after the success of the ATV the company though of targeting the bigger mid sized ATV segment. They did this by introducing the Arctic Cat 300. Introduced in 1998, all of the vehicles developed by the Arctic Cat had Suzuki engine.
Artic Cat designed the 300 in such a way that it could serve the utility purpose without loosing on fun to drive. The Arctic Cat 300 was made to settle on durability, value and fun to drive machine. All of the Artic dealers were too excited to add an inventory that was cheaper than the previous Arctic’s. The response was great for the new small ATV. [...]
