Buell Bikes are an American manufacturer of motor cycles. They were founded by the former engineer of Harley Davidson, Erik Buell. While the company had initially partnered with the Harley Davidson Co. in the year 1993, by the year 2003, they became a subsidiary of Harley Davidson. By the year 2009, however Harley Davidson announced the discontinuation of Buell Bikes, and by November of the same year period, an independent Erik Buell Racing Co., was launched which only produced the 1125R model’s race versions.
The Buell 1125R is a sport bike model from Buell. It was first introduced in the year 2007 as a 2008 year model. By 2009, it was announced that only the race versions of this model would be produced.
