  • Condor Bikes- Italian Swiss made
    Condor A350 was a very capable motorcycle which was focused to serve Swiss Military. Condor bikes were produced by Victor Donzelot and Edouard Scheffer, they made their debut with a motorcycle that was made to serve US military. In 1990 the newly formed company was given a logo, a Condor bird and since then they are more popularly known as Condor bikes in the US. Later in years company name was changed to Condor Werke AG. This motorcycle company also produced civilian’s motorcycles but mostly produced motorcycles for military. Some of the engines were made in-house mostly were sourced from Ducati. Some say that Condor bikes never manufactured their own engine they sourced engines from backdoors. Condor A350 sourced its engine from the very successful scrambler 350.     Condor A350 is Swiss Military Motorcycles that was first manufactured in 1893. First Condor was manufactured by Edouard Scheffer and Victor Donzelot in the factory named Sheffer Freres. Later in 1990 company decided to logo its company name and showed up Condor birds, later the company got its name Condor. The company started as producing bikes for government, also manufactured bikes for civilian use. Most of the engines were sourced from Ducati, while they also manufactured engine in house. The Condor A350 was a special designed motorcycle for Swiss military. The bike received successful, 1967 Ducati 350 motor. At first Condor Bikes decided to import engine blocks from Ducati, later the company decided to import complete engine from Italians.     Condor bikes were first manufactured in 1893 to serve Swiss military. Victor Donzelot and Edouard in their manufacturing facility started producing heavy duty motorcycles for military. Most of the Condor motorcycles were equipped with Ducati engines. Initially the company wanted to get parts and assemble the engine at their own manufacturing facility, later company contracted Ducati to get fully built engine. Condor wanted to choose an engine that would be most capable to serve the Swiss military. Ducati’s 350 scrambler engine was closest to satisfy military demands, and soon production started for Condor A350.
