  • Triumph’s New 2011 Daytona 675R Premier Racing Bike
    The 2011 model of the Triumph Daytona 675R just heated up the competition among middleweight sport motorcycles. This bike is powered by the Triple 675 engine. While it features the same basic appearance and chassis dimensions as its original version, however it does boast of some notable upgrades. This Triumph Bike is equipped with Brembo 4 piston, monoblock caliphers, master cylinder from Brembo as well as the quick shifter. One of the major weaknesses of this otherwise great motorcycle was its suspension, which has been addressed with the use of the Ohlins suspension. The pre-load, rebound and damping adjusters are located above the fork, which alleviate the need for crawling below the fork for making any adjustments.   • Ducati Cites 68% Sales Growth for First Quarter of 2011
    The North American division of Ducati bikes recently announced their sales figures for the first quarter of this year. The Italian bike manufacturer has claimed an increase in sales of almost 68 per cent in the first quarter in comparision to that of last year. The recent figures continue the trend witnessed by the brand in the last two quarters for 2010, even though the annual overall sales of 2010 were in the negative. Ducati, meanwhile continues to remain bullish regarding the future sales for the entire year, with their newest Monster and Diavel 1100EVO currently making it to the retail market.   • BMW’s Latest F800R Makes for a Sturdy, Capable Bike
    The newest version of the BMW F800R is a demi-sport price point bike. Though this bike has reportedly received inputs from bike stunt stalwart, Christian Pfeiffer, this bike is still sturdy and capable enough as a citizen bike as compared to a stunt bike. This BMW F800R has a snazzy white, red and blue livery. The new 2011 model of this bike has a minimalist style. It is powered by a parallel twin 798cc engine which was first seen in the 2006 model of BMW Bikes, which sits in the aluminum twin-spar frame of the bike. It allegedly delivers a horsepower of 87 at 8000 rpm which is 2bhp more than what the F800GS bike delivered at 7500 rpm.   • Suzuki’s latest GSX-R600 High Performance Street Bike
    In the biking world, the line-up of GSX-R bikes from Suzuki are known for their performance. These series of bikes are being produced since the year 1985 and have more than 360,000 bikes sold, which make it one of the popular brands in sport bikes.   • Honda’s North American Division Adds Four New Bike Models
    The Honda Motor Co.’s division of North American recently announced that they would be adding four different types of motor cycle models to its existing line up of motor cycles in the US. These four models will be added to the Honda American division’s 2011 year line up of models. These models are the Stateline, the Sabre, the Shadow Aero as well as the NT700V machines. The company also revealed the various pricing details of three of the new street bikes. The Sabre will be retailing for $11,899, the Shadow Aero fro $7,999, while the Stateline will retail for $11,799. The 2011 year model Stateline taken separately has a lot of modern features incorporated into a retro classic style.   • Honda VT1300 to have Cobra Air Intake and Exhaust Systems

  • Mahindra becomes first Indian name for MotoGP
    After Formula one racing India is going to be seen in the Grand Prix paddock racing. India based automobile manufacturer Mahindra will be the first ever Indian manufacturer to be entering this series of racing. Mahindra will be making its debut in the race with finale 125 GP Championship teaming with rides Marcel Schrotter and Danny Webb. Mahindra will be going beyond the 125 era when class gets 4 stroke Moto 3.
